Driver will make deliveries of tires in dry van trailers from the DC in Portland OR to warehouses and retail stores in OR, WA, ID, MT, and Canada Deliver locations in Canada include Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Acheson, and British Columbia Canadian deliveries consist of a day and a half of driving into Canada, make deliveries, and then a day and a half driving back to the DC in Portland At the receiver, driver is required to unstack, roll, and throw tires off the rear of the trailer at each location Trailers will be stacked floor to ceiling with tires weighing anywhere from 30-200lbs Average tire weight is 50lbs Driver must be capable of unstacking, rolling, and throwing tires that average 30-200lbs multiple times per day Driver will throw an average of 400 tires per day. Driver will average 50-100 tires per stop Some loads will contain specialty tires that weigh 200lbs or more that will be strapped to the wall Driver will be required to roll these tires to the end of the trailer where the customer will offload with a forklift When delivering to Canada the customer will unload 75% of the loads. Driver is required to assist with the other 25% of loads Some delivery locations will be drop/hook stops, but they are minimal Driver is required to count tires at each stop After unload, driver is required to ensure the load is secure and can safely travel to the next location Driver is required to pick up backhauls and returns at retail store locations Driver is required to load returns Special Requirements: Driver must be able to enter and exit Canada as the account makes frequent deliveries into Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Acheson, and British Columbia Pay and Shift Home 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off $2,000 weekly pay 6am start time
