Job Info Job Location: Coppell, Texas Route Type: Regional Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: Heavy Touch Additional Information Regional CDL-A Tandem Driver Pay: $28 per hour Location: Coppell, Texas About the Position We are seeking a dependable CDL-A Tandem Driver for regional delivery routes originating in Coppell, Texas. This position involves delivering pet food and accessories, with a combination of pallet-jack deliveries and touch freight handled by handcart when required. Pay & Schedule Details $28 per hour Four-day work week, typically Tuesday through Friday Start times typically range from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., depending on the assigned route Regional routes with overnight stays required, typically at least two overnights per week $40 per diem for each layover Fuel and hotel expenses supported through a Comdata card Job Details Route type: Regional, multi-stop delivery routes Freight: Pet food and accessories Equipment: Tandem tractor-trailer, pallet jack, and handcart Freight handling: Primarily pallet-jack deliveries with some touch freight based on customer requirements and delivery setup Key Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL-A tandem vehicle on regional delivery routes Deliver pet food and accessories to multiple customer locations Load, unload, and move freight using a pallet jack and handcart Complete touch freight deliveries when required by customer needs Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and safety procedures Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide professional customer service Minimum Requirements Valid CDL-A 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Experience with lift gates and pallet jacks Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Ability to handle palletized and touch freight Availability for early morning starts and required overnight stays Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Referral program Why Work With TransForce Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
