Director, Site Merchandising - Hardlines (Sporting Goods, Patio & Garden, School & Office Supplies) Location: Bentonville, AR Position Summary Lead the site merchandising strategy for the Hardlines e-commerce business, driving visual merchandising, content strategy, functionality, and campaign planning to deliver a frictionless online shopping experience. Responsibilities Shape the holistic site strategy and provide customer insights to create a cohesive, seamless shopping journey. Oversee visual site merchandising, content strategy, and site functionality including navigation, hierarchy, search, browse, and new product onboarding. Develop and monitor site metrics and dashboards, providing strategic insights and influencing overall site direction. Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes, identify opportunities, and scale best practices and governance. Establish operational excellence by creating efficient workflows, processes, and timelines; embed them into day‑to‑day operations. Manage, coach, and develop a high‑performing merchandising team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, visual design, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of related experience in site merchandising, eCommerce, merchandising, or a related field. Experience leading large teams. Strong understanding of how online customers shop and ability to translate data into actionable improvements. Visionary mindset, adept at driving new functionality to set the brand apart. Excellent operational focus and ability to identify efficiency opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and influence cross‑functional partners. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business, merchandising, visual design, or a related field. Additional 2+ years of experience in the above areas.
