Job Info Job Location: Lancaster, Texas Route Type: Regional Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1+ year Handling: Heavy Touch Additional Information Class A CDL Regional Driver - Heavy Touch - $0.70 CPM - $1600 Per Week - Lancaster, TX About the Position We are seeking a Class A CDL Regional Driver in Lancaster, TX, offering a competitive pay rate of $1600 per week. The role involves running an average of 2200 miles per week using 48' rear lift gated trailers, requiring the use of an electric pallet jack to deliver products to the ground or onto the docks of detention facilities. There is no hand unloading, and all pallets are shrink-wrapped. Pay & Schedule Pay: $0.70 CPM + stop pay - $1600+ per week Schedule: Sunday-Thursday returning around 1:00 PM, or Monday-Friday returning around 6:00 PM Job Details Most pallets weigh no more than 2500 pounds and are no more than 6.5 feet high Traveling routes include TX, AZ, NM, LA, AR, OK, with weekly routes to FL, GA, PA, and NJ Dedicated routes returning to Lancaster, TX Key Responsibilities Deliver products using 48' rear lift gated trailers Accurately complete Bill of Lading and stop details Train with a company driver for 3-5 days before operating independently Maintain a clean motor vehicle record Adhere to all DOT and FMCSA requirements Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Past food service experience is a HUGE plus Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
