Job Info Job Location: Central Square, New York Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Direct Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 0+ (includes CDL students) Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information CDL B Readymix Driver - Up to $34.00/Hr - Central Square, NY About the Position We are assisting our client, a readymix concrete operation in Central Square, NY, in finding experienced CDL B drivers for direct hire. This is a home daily position paying $28-$34/hr depending on experience, with routes staying within 1 hour of the plant in the Syracuse area. Pay & Schedule Details Pay Rate: $28.00 - $34.00/hr depending on experience Weekly pay Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday (once or twice a year) Typical start time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, may vary based on business demand Hours: 8-10 hours per day Home daily Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Readymix concrete Equipment: Front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks Handling: No touch Key Responsibilities Hauling readymix concrete within 1 hour of the base plant in the Syracuse, NY area Occasionally working from other plants within the Syracuse network Verifying material is properly mixed with correct slump before leaving the plant Operating front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks Minimum Requirements Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Valid CDL B Readymix concrete experience preferred; other experienced truck drivers will be considered and trained Manual transmission experience preferred Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Must be at least 21 years old Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Home daily Weekly pay Why Work With Us Apply today, and a recruiter may reach out to learn more about you and walk you through the next steps.
