Job Info Job Location: Fairfield, Ohio Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1+ year Handling: Light Touch Additional Information CDL A Truck Driver - Up to $30 Per Hour Location: Fairfield, Ohio About the Position We are currently seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver for local delivery in Fairfield, Ohio. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $28 to $30 per hour, with overtime available after 40 hours. The role primarily involves delivering paper products to Walmart and other stores across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $28 - $30 Per Hour Average Weekly Pay: $1200 to $1800 Schedule: Monday through Friday Start Time: Between 3 AM and 5 AM Average Hours: 40 hours per week, with potential for 50 to 60 hours Job Details Route Type: Local Delivery Freight: Paper products Handling: Unloading with a pallet jack and sometimes a 2-wheel dolly Overnight Stays: Occasionally required, with a $40 per diem for food Key Responsibilities Deliver products to various locations in a timely manner Unload freight using appropriate equipment Maintain accurate logs and records, including paper logs if ELD issues arise Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
