Job Info Job Location: Baltimore, Maryland Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information CDL-A Local Driver - Baltimore, MD TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support local operations based in Baltimore, MD . Temp-to-Hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team with excellent long-term potential. CDL-A Driver Details: Schedule: Full-time, 5-day workweek (choose Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, or Sunday-Thursday ) Shift: 1st Shift - Dispatch times between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM Home Time: Home Daily Pay: $27.00 per hour (Straight Time) Route Type: Local Route Area: Typically within 200-250 miles of the Baltimore yard (most routes are even closer) Average Stops: 3-6 stops per day Freight / Load Type: General Freight (Hazmat loads may be assigned) Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Automatic Transmission Handling: No-Touch Freight CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements: License: Valid CDL-A Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience Endorsements: Hazmat endorsement preferred at time of hire; required within the first 90 days of employment Equipment Experience: CDL-A Tractor Trailer Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements CDL-A Driver Responsibilities: Safely operate a CDL-A tractor trailer on local delivery routes Transport general freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) Referral Program Why Work With TransForce?
