Job Info Job Location: Edison, New Jersey Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1+ year Handling: Heavy Touch Additional Information CDL A Route Driver - Local - $30 Per Hour - Edison, NJ About the Position TransForce is seeking a CDL A Route Driver for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Edison, NJ. The driver will be responsible for hauling eggs to grocery stores or distribution centers. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $30 per hour Monday to Saturday (Drivers will only work 5 days) Dispatch times are between 12 AM - 3 AM 9 - 12 hours per day Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Eggs Equipment: Tractors with automatic transmissions Handling: Unloading of product using pallet jacks or rolling racks Approximately 8 stops per day covering Pennsylvania & New Jersey Key Responsibilities Haul preloaded trailers with palletized products to designated locations Complete invoices upon delivery and utilize E-Logs for paperwork Use RF scanners for inventory on select accounts Maintain a clean motor vehicle record Minimum Requirements 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience CDL A license with reefer experience Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
