Job Info Job Location: Palmdale, California Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Flex Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1+ year Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information CDL A Drivers - Combo Lane (Split Sleeper) $30/hr Palmdale, CA About the Position TransForce is seeking CDL A drivers to support combo lane operations based out of Palmdale, CA. This position offers consistent work, competitive hourly pay, and a structured schedule for drivers comfortable with a split sleeper berth operation. Pay & Schedule Details Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour Shift Structure: Split sleeper berth schedule 4 days on one week / 3 the next week Estimated On-Duty Time: Up to 14 hours per day Work Cycle: 3-4 days on-site (drivers remain in sleeper during shift cycles) Job Details Drivers will run two local/regional loads per shift with scheduled off-duty periods in between: 1st Load Start: 4:00 PM Return: 10:00 PM Total: 6 hours Off Duty (Sleeper Berth): 2 hours 2nd Load Start: 12:00 AM Return: 6:00 AM Total: 6 hours Key Responsibilities Combo lane operation utilizing split sleeper berth rules Drivers will remain on-site in sleeper during work cycle Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A license 3+ years of recent, verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record Ability to safely operate within HOS and split sleeper berth regulations Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Referral program Why Work With TransForce Join our team and enjoy the benefits of working with a supportive employer that values your skills and dedication.
