Job Info Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: No-touch freight TWIC Card Required Additional Information CDL A Driver - Local - $28 Per Hour - Savannah, Georgia About the Position We are currently accepting applications for a CDL A Driver in the Savannah, GA area and the surrounding areas. The role offers a consistent schedule with no night work. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $28 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Shift Duration: 7 AM start time working 8 to 12 hour shifts; going to the Savannah and South Carolina area TWIC required due to going to the port Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Intermodal Loads Equipment: No touch Handling: 1 to 3 stops/runs per day Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean motor vehicle record Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations Perform GA - FL and SC runs Minimum Requirements 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience CDL A License TWIC Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
