Based in Torrance, California, they handle complex matters involving real estate law, business and commercial disputes, construction litigation, partnership conflicts, and shareholder rights. Our dual approach—offering both litigation and transactional expertise—ensures our clients receive holistic, strategic legal counsel. We are seeking a sharp and motivated entry-level attorney with 6 months to 1 year of experience in California litigation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about litigation, eager to learn, and excited to gain hands-on experience in a variety of complex commercial matters. You’ll be working side-by-side with experienced litigators on high-level cases while building your skills in legal research, drafting, client interaction, and courtroom procedure. Duties: Assist with case management and strategy development for commercial, business, and real estate litigation matters Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, legal memoranda, and correspondence Conduct legal research and analysis across a range of commercial and real estate issues Support senior attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Attend court hearings and depositions as experience permits Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel Work closely with the team to support the firm-wide litigation strategy Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school Active member of the California State Bar in good standing 6 months to 1 year of experience in civil or business litigation (internship, externship, clerkship, or post-bar experience acceptable) Strong writing, research, and communication skills Demonstrated interest in complex litigation, particularly in business or real estate matters Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and take initiative Familiarity with Los Angeles County courts and e-filing preferred Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary $115,000 - $130,000 with bonus/commission opportunities Medical and profit-sharing benefits Generous paid time off and holidays 1600-billable-hour target that encourages work-life balance High-rise office with ocean views in Torrance, CA Supportive environment with opportunities for mentorship, growth, and long-term advancement (including partnership potential) Exposure to a wide variety of complex litigation matters—not repetitive, volume-based work.
